Certified Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant:

Accreditation Project Manager Intern

Flexible schedule: 8 hours per week for up to 3 months

The Project Management Intern assists in the compilation of required documentation and completed questionnaire specific to the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts requirements. This role facilitates presenting Aberdeen Home Care, Inc. for voluntary accreditation with the Alliance. The position may be cross trained in other areas to support and clerical roles of the company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain files and checklists identifying the progress toward completion of documents required for accreditation.
  • Audit agency policies and trainings to assure compliance with the Alliance accreditation criteria.
  • Compile all insurance documents providing proof of coverage identified by the Alliance.
  • Submit completed documentation for review by Management prior to the President’s sign off of attestation on the accreditation application.
  • Uphold expectations of confidentiality and safe keeping of proprietary Aberdeen information.
  • Demonstrate and uphold fair business practices compliant with all applicable federal, state and local business laws and regulations and with the Code of Business Ethics of the Alliance.
  • Other associated duties required in supporting the needs of the business.

Social Media Intern

Flexible schedule: 8-16 hours per week for up to 3 months

The Social Media Intern assists in the coordination of Aberdeen communications on social media, including website maintenance, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. This role facilitates the Aberdeen Home Care, Inc. presence on all approved social media platforms and monitoring of all sites.

The position is cross trained in other support and clerical roles of the company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Maintain a professional business site to attract interest from a customer base which may include potential clients or employees to Aberdeen Home Care, Inc.
  • Connect to links in the business community including, but not limited to Chamber of Commerce, etc.
  • Participate in marketing and recruitment efforts as requested.
  • Uphold expectations of confidentiality and safe keeping of proprietary Aberdeen information.
  • Maintain files for the business office, including but not limited to: social media and marketing contacts and related records and invoices.
  • Other associated duties required in supporting the needs of the business.

Rosemary Nelson - Aberdeen Home Care, Inc. - Home Care Services

Rosemary Attridge, LPN

Rosemary has been both a staff nurse and supervisor for Aberdeen Home Care for the past 13 years. Rosemary has 25 years of nursing experience and has a speciality in end of life and Hospice Care. She brings expert knowledge and skill to our Clients who need symptom management.

Rosemary is a compassionate, resourceful nurse, who earns the respect and admiration of each and every Client because of her outstanding care.

Rosemary oversees many Clients’ care who are needing the expertise she offers as they face a terminal illness. She offers spiritual and emotional care to our Clients, right along side her meticulous nursing care.

Rosemary has served on numerous assignments for Habitat for Humanity and when not at work, is generally volunteering at a local food pantry or other activity, which benefits those in need.

Lori Camille White, LPN - Field Supervisor - Aberdeen Home Care, Inc.

Lori Camille White, LPN

As a Gloucester Native, Lori is well known all over Cape Ann as an extraordinary professional caregiver. She is an expert in rehabilitation care, and has developed a widely known reputation as a very effective leader of the “Aberdeen Rehab Team.” Lori has been able to direct and participate in the care plan of countless individuals who have chosen home rehab rather than admission into a traditional rehab facility. She is trusted implicitly by her Clients and brings expert assessment, planning, and implementation to each and every case.

Lori shares her non-work time as a facilitator of charity work for numerous Cape Ann outreach programs for those in need.

Tara has extensive experience in the field of Home Health. She has acted as our “Lead Caregiver” on countless cases and is widely respected by all her colleagues. Tara has specialized skills in caring for Clients with cognitive impairment as well as rehabilitation needs.

She is known for her kind and calm demeanor and for her unfailing patience. Tara is often requested as a caregiver whenever Clients refer their friends who are needing care. She is often the “favorite” of her Clients, and serves as a role model and mentor to new members of the Aberdeen Team.

Tara sets the standard of care at the highest bar, and we are proud to have her as a dedicated member of our team.

Pamela Atkins

Certified Nursing Assistant / On-Call Coordinator

Like many of our staff, Pam was motivated to become a professional healthcare worker stemming from personal experience. Pam was the primary caregiver for her own mother,  for whom she cared for almost singlehandedly, at home, for many years. Pam’s devotion and hard work, allowed her mother to remain comfortably at home for the remainder of her life.  

She shares her love of animals with her Clients. She brings her puppy, Sonny, to visit her Clients who wish to see him.

Pam is a devoted caregiver, giving 110% to each and every Client she is assigned to. She is a wonderful team member and is dedicated to solving any problem or challenge that presents itself in the care of her Client. She is resourceful, devoted, and a true patient advocate.

Moses Mugwanya

Certified Nursing Assistant

Sharing his work time between Care Dimensions and Aberdeen Home Care, Inc., Moses brings his gentle and special touch to every assignment. He is patient beyond comprehension, is always in a “therapeutic mode,” and is able to see well beyond the immediate situation (regardless of the details) to the greater picture. His personal view that life is sacred, extends to his every action. The Aberdeen Clients and families he cares for are so appreciative of the extensive skill set that Moses brings each and every day.
